Epact Fan Cooled Motors
The Epact Fan Cooled Motor is found in Toshiba’s Premium motor series and is available in open drip proof and is a totally enclosed fan cooled design. The Premium motor delivers a quality design, performance and reliability. This series is NEMA MG1 and exceeds energy efficiency requirements.
EQP Global 840
The EQP Global 840 is a NEMA Premium efficiency motor series. This component is designed for mill and chemical industries, incorporating many key features of an IEEE-841 motor. The EQP Global 840 features design enhancements on the rotor, frame, bracket, fan and bearings.
EQP Global 841

EQP III 840
The Toshiba EQP III 840 Series assists special requirements of mill and chemical industries where motor performance and reliability are imperative. The EQPIII 840 motor series is designed using the cornerstone of the Toshiba motor product offering as a base. This product is high-end that incorporates many of the key features of an IEEE-841 motor in a more cost-efficient package. This series is designed for indoor and outdoor use. Motor product offers 20 to 1 constant torque, oversized bearings, IP54 or IP55 protection, Class F insulation system, and NEMA Premium. The component meets NEMA energy efficiency requirements that are listed in NEMA MG1 Table 12-12.
EQP III 841
Toshiba’s EQP III 841 Series targets the requirements of the petrochemical industry where motor performance and reliability are essential. This motor series is designed for indoor and outdoor use in the most demanding environments. The EQPIII 841 motor series featured performances are:

Oil Pump Motors

Toshwash SS Motors

The Toshwash SS is a tough washdown duty motor that approaches five times the normal life cycle of other applications requiring frequent washdowns. Vertical P-Base Motors
Toshiba’s Vertical P-Base motor series is designed to for petrochemical and material processing industries. This product line is built to withstand the harshest conditions and offers some of the highest efficiency and torque ratings, which allows components to have a longer life and greater liability. This design meets API 610 specifications for chemical processing applications and all motors include patent-pending lubrication improved flow and circulation of grease and oil for a longer more bearing life. This series is engineered to allow for indoor and outdoor applications exceeding NEMA MG1 Part 31 requirement, and is offered in standard and premium efficiencies.
Vector Ready XT Motors
Toshiba’s vector motor series is engineered for more extreme operational requirements for today’s variable speed applications. The EQPIII is built as a base for this motor product and designed to withstand aggressive environment that requires tight vector control such as, material handling, conveyor and machine tooling and several other process-oriented applications. This component is built for indoor and outdoor inverter operation and is not intended for conventional process.
Explosion Proof Motors
The Explosion Proof motor series is designed to meet UL and CSA Listed Hazardous Locations requirements. This product line is engineered for the use of Class I, Division 1, Group D, Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G and carries a temperature code rating of T3B. This component is for Indoor and Outdoor use and features reliability and durability performance, for the toughest environments.
XT Quarry Duty Motors
Quarry Duty motor series can exceed extreme demands of the cement and aggregate industries. Quarry duty motors utilize enclosed fan cooling designs and provide Design C torque, oversized superior-grade roller bearings, and shafts built with high strength 4142 steel. The roller bearings on the motor’s drive-end allows heavy radial loads with belt-driven applications. This motor series exceeds NEMA MG1 Part 31 requirements and is designed for horizontal, vertical, indoor or outdoor applications.
